circles of support process

Circle is sacred. Historically, various cultures and religions have used circles for celebrations, rituals, and discipline…, the list of coming together is endless. Whether standing or sitting, the circle represents unity as equals. When participating in circle, everyone can visually be seen. No one person is hidden or obsolete.

As a participant in DRC's Healing Circles of Support be prepared to:

  • Share your truth related to the circle topic

  • Be an active listener

  • Demonstrate compassion

  • Represent as a fair witness observing events and reporting exactly what is seen and heard making no extrapolations or assumptions.

  • Not act as one's judge, authoritative figure, therapist, clergy, psychologist, attorney or know-it-all

  • BE TRANSFORMED & OPEN TO HEALING!
