Weekly circles of support

Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Weekly circles of support for youth are held virtually on Zoom every Thursday night for one hour from 5-6pm.

Circles of support is a fun and safe space for youth to connect and tap in whenever they wish.

Participants learn and demonstrate the "circle process" and most conversations are done in circle format. Circle Keepers offer question prompts to get youth to reflect and think deeply about various topics like connection, wellness, emotions, family struggles, and all things in between!

Participants have the opportunity to be themselves, build healthy relationships with their peers, and build a community of support with mentors who care about them!

For every 5 weekly circles that each youth attends, DRC will invest in them a $15!  So sign up weekly to earn your free gift!

If interested or know of someone to refer, please fill out this form so we can add them to our waiting list. Once the form is complete, we will send you a zoom link."

FLO & DMX:

12-Week Boys and Girls Group

FLO/DMX are support groups for young women and men that meet once a week for 12 weeks having conversations around socio-emotional development, connection, wellness, emotions, family struggles, “adulting”, and all things in between!

FLO: For Ladies Only and DMX: Divine Masculine Xcellence are led by some of the best community members on DRC's team! Facilitation is based upon lived experiences and knowledge to bring self-awareness, wisdom, and guidance in support of youth and the issues they may encounter. This is a special opportunity to promote sisterly and brotherly bonds that is safe, and confidential. If you know of any young person that is looking for a safe space to talk and meet new people, FLO/DMX may be the right choice.

Participants will have the opportunity to be themselves, build healthy relationships with their peers, and build a community of support with mentors who care about them. They will gain healthy life and self-development skills like self-discovery, self-expression, communication skills, leadership skills, and creating a vision board to fulfill goals and aspirations.

DRC values the strength of youth voice, and we recognize the obstacles that hinder youth from being their best, especially during these traumatic times. Upon successful completion of 12 weekly sessions, an investment of $250 is given to each participant for their time and commitment to themselves and others.
